Even though Google search is not the be all and end all to business, having a site that ranks well for commonly searched for key terms helps greatly. SEO today is increasingly driven by natural language search, that is, people doing searches that are more like normal questions than two or three keywords. Always research before you buy any SEO software because the search engine Algorithms are constantly changing thereby improving their search technologies to provide the most relevant results for their users. SEO tools for Google, MSN and Yahoo are numerous. If you are new in the business then remember that the big guns are already optimizing for the most popular keywords and you don’t stand a chance for those keywords. Hence, choose keywords that have a good search volume but, are still not that popular. Use them 2-3 times for every 100 words in your content.
Are Keywords – and Keyword Research – Dead?My suggestion would be not to shoot press releases in all directions for the sole purpose of building links. Be very genuine of the purpose of writing your press release. Keywords should never be used to try to trick or mislead human beings or Google spiders.. So, if you can’t fit the keyword in naturally anywhere, just forget it and use it in your image alt-text etc. If nofollow links do not influence the position of a web page in the search results, why should use use these links?
